![]() or should I do a mix of Brutality/tactics or Brutality/survival? Pure brutality is usually best if going this specific route, but if you try and make the rest of your leftover scrolls purple then you can get use out of ranged roll, arrow ripper, or the networking mutations. Solid advice! im a huge fan of Hattoris Katana so I'll go for a pure brutality build. After defeating the Boss in the Clock Room (I hate that guy), you’ll be able to enter the real Dracula’s Castle. Make your way to the Stilt Village biome, then the Clock Tower after that. or should I do a mix of Brutality/tactics or Brutality/survival? So in order to progress in Return to Castlevania, you have to resist the urge to roll down those stairs and start a normal run elsewhere. If you're playing a brutality build, something like Serenade or the Leghugger will do wonders for you. ![]() Outpacing them far outstrips the benefits of landing hits and risking damage. I've beaten them No Damage up to 1BC this way and will ramp up to higher boss-cells once outfits get sorted out. 3- 150 dmg is local to the weapon, weapon tooltip dps scales with your scrolls. Use something like the shovel/flashing fans/iron staff to reflect projectiles or parry attacks as you roll. ![]() My preferred build at the moment is Brutality, "No mercy, Bleeding, Backpack Melee" with the infantry bow and either the sadist's stilletto or the blood sword/assassin's dagger/Vorpan. ![]() Just keep an eye out for their ground-pound. The archer is mostly harmless, since their attacks are all extremely predictable. If they land on the ground, focus on outrunning them and take pot shots and roll-dash attacks where possible. The tonfa guardian will mostly just go back and forth in easier dodged wall-to-wall patterns. If you're not worried about order-killing for blueprints, focus on nuking the predictable but heavy attacks of the ball-and-chain one first, as they telegraph their moves and have a slow attack pattern, then pick off the tonfas one. I think it's time to buy more stuff. The phrase I would use is "don't stop running". I have most of the blue print by now, but I only picked that that sounded useful for me. Is it a good strategy to reach 75% Damage reduction with items? vital? I found out that completely going with Damage items, mostly make a single mistake of being in the wrong place kill me, so I feel like I'm almost always have to use Damage reduction items. If the above is true, so what about Grenade? 100% damage means the Grenade only does extra 100%? It's confusing because Grenades also have 'less 10% damage' which is mean is implying monsters damage on YOU (and not the weapon) Only effect that specific weapon (it won't effect grenades for example), is it? Is the DPS number is calculated with The Scoll I found? or the damage they give is not shown on the DPS? One thing I was never clear about - The '150% damage' on weapons. I just finished Boss Cells 1 mode, and now that I have double Cells drop, I'm thinking what should be the next thing I do.Ĭan I try run Boss Cells 2/3 with just the first + upgrade? I should take some time to grind 8000 Cells for the ++ and +++ smity upgrade before I can expect to push forward?ĭoes monster hit harder or have more HP on higher Boss levels? or the 'hard' part coming from the lack of foundations and the trick is not getting hit?
